Life is full of challenging experiences and we often benefit from the support of an affirming third-party to be present with us in our struggles, provide containment with non-judgment, and guide us through processing the tough stuff.

Individual therapy, also known as counseling or psychotherapy, is a form of mental health treatment where an individual works one-on-one with a trained therapist or counselor. The goal of individual therapy is to help you address and overcome various mental health challenges, emotional issues, or life difficulties.

During our individual therapy sessions, I'll provide a safe and confidential environment for you to explore your thoughts, feelings, and behaviors. I take care to honor each client’s personal experience and collaborate throughout the therapeutic process. To do this, I utilize a combination of approaches unique to each client’s needs.

Individual therapy can be beneficial for a wide range of folks facing various challenges or seeking personal growth and self-improvement. It's important to note that seeking therapy is not limited to those experiencing severe mental health issues. Many people find therapy helpful for a variety of reasons, and therapists can provide support and guidance across a broad spectrum of concerns.

Cost of Services

Insurance

I currently accept Blue Cross Blue Shield Insurance.
Mental health services, including telemental health, are not covered by all insurance companies, plans and policies. Clients are responsible for calling their specific policy holder to receive verification that Moxie Therapy services are covered on their policy prior to engaging in mental health services with me.

Helpful Questions to Ask Your Insurance Company

*You have the right to refuse a diagnosis but doing so may prevent you from being able to access your insurance benefits. Please let your provider know if you have any questions about your benefits or call the phone number on the back of your insurance card.

Self-Pay (Out of Network)

Cost per session/out of network: $125 per 60min session.

If you are a self-pay client, I can give you a printout of billing to submit to your insurance toward your deductible. I accept all major credit cards, and health Savings Account (HSA) card payment.
